Plateau United return home this weekend to play host to a ‘dangerous’ visitor, Kano Pillars. And after a road trip misadventure to Aba last weekend where they were thrashed 3-0 by the Peoples Elephant, Enyimba, Plateau United would need more than home advantage to survive the threat of Pillars.
With the homers sinking further in the relegation waters, Plateau will need an outright miracle to survive the onslaught of Pillars who are coming to town still basking in the euphoria of  the 3-0 bashing they handed Heartland last weekend. And with the Ladan Bosso led Pillars eyeing a return to the league table summit, they indeed look capable of adding the scalps of their host to their war chest.
The game promises to be a keenly contested battle between two sides of contrasting fortunes - Plateau struggling for survival, while Pillars aiming for supremacy.
