West Ham Plot To Hijack Leicester’s Bid For Yak
Posted: Jun 13, 2011
West Ham are trying to hijack Leicester’S bid to sign 28-year-old Yakubu.
Everton’s Nigerian striker was on loan with the Foxes last season and had been expected to make the move permanent this summer.
But new Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is interested in taking the hitman to Upton Park.
Yakubu earns £35,000 a week at Goodison Park and would have to take a pay cut to join either Leicester or West Ham.
