Kalu Confident Of A Better Tomorrow
Posted: Jul 24, 2011
Super Eagles attacking midfielder, Kalu Uche says fans of the Nigerian national team are in for a great time between now and 2014.
With two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments (2012 and 2013) as well as the World Cup in 2014, Uche told KickOffNigeria.com that the players have resolved to give fans the best in terms of performances for the team.
“We really have to keep working hard. It’s all about hard work because the fans are gradually believing in us again and we must continue to give hundred percent in each game to keep them happy,” Uche said.
“We have the Africa Cup of Nations and one World Cup to play and I am not saying we will win any one of them because you just can’t make promises like that.
“I can only say we will do our best; we will work hard and we will make our fans proud of us by the end of the World Cup in 2014.”
“In order to achieve something you must work hard and that is why we have taken that as our watch word. In fact we must give more than one hundred percent,” Uche promised.
