Holland right winger, who started the game from the bench but whose introduction in the second half brought life into the Ealges attack alongside Ikechukwu Uche, however believes the team has learnt from the bitter experience and will bounce back into reckoning in the near future.
In a chat with Complete Sports Saturday, Musa said he is further disappointed that he will be missing his chance to debut for Nigeria at the AFCON next January.

“I am not happy that we did not get the result we needed to qualify for the African Cup of Nations,” begins the player known for his speed down the flank and daring runs.
“We were very close to getting the result we needed but we ended up conceeding a goal in the final minutes of the game. I know Nigerians are not happy with us but I’m pleading with them to forgive us.
“For me, it is double disappointment because I will not be able to play in my first African Cup of Nations. That will now wait for another time.
“We have learnt some lessons from what has happened and I hope Nigerians will still support the team because  I believe we’ll bounce back stronger,” said the player who also shone like a million stars for the Flying Eagles at the last World Youth Championship held in Colombia a few months back.
