BUKOLA PLAYERS IN HIDING
Posted: Nov 11, 2011
The management of Bukola Babes have moved the players and officials to a secret location to avoid the camp being infiltrated by agents of clubs desperate to win the league.
According to an official of the team who pleaded anonymity, they are aware that the two leading teams in the Premier League have sent their agents to Ilorin, especially to ‘buy over’ our players.
“We have therefore moved the players to a secret location to avoid any of them being compromised. Of course, we are aware that some agents have started making moves towards the players and as such, we want to avoid any match-fixing situation,” he said.
Both Sunshine Stars and Dolphins are locked in the battle to win the Premier League with Dolphins needing an away win in Ilorin to realise their ambition. Sunshine, who lead the table with 71 points, one more than second-placed Dolphins, play Kano Pillars in Kano in their last fixture.

Where is the report of the committee that was set up as a result of
Iorfa's macth fixing allegation against Sunshine Stars, which also roped in Dolphins FC? Match fixing and attempts to influence officials is a serious problem rocking the game of football all over the world. However rules have equally been deviced to tackle such cases when they occur. The story of the 2011 premier league season will not be complete untill Dolphins and Sunshine and all the match officials involved in the alleged case are brought to book.
The deliberate schemes by the suspects to sweep the matter under the carpet as the season rounds off today will lead to further crsis in Nigerian league which is bedevilled already. No clubside or official is too big for the rules and statutes. Lets have champions for the 2011 season without scandal sorrounding their success. Neither Sunshine Stars nor Dolphins and indeed any other clubside will be worthy champions with the allegation hanging on their heads.
