Mikel is a waste in Chelsea, period! Lets be frank wit ourselves, is Mikel better dan Oriol or Ramires? Capital NO! How many goals has he scored since joining Chelsea? Not even one in close to 300 appearances for both club & country while Ramires has scored several goals & the performance of Oriol against New Castle & Valencia was more dan outstanding dat made us won them... Even defenders & goalkeepers score goals everywhere in World Football, but for Mikel, chacha. Useless midfieder. I beg, can somebody tell me how many assists he has in Chelsea & Super Eagles to his credit? Jokes apart, I need an anser to dis? I wish he to even goes to Granada so dat wen they are relegated, he can go wit dem to Div.2 to learn how to play well & score goal. Wat pains me most about him is d way he forms wen fouled. He'll remain on d ground dragging his hose to his kneels instead of getting up immediately to chase d ball.. He's just full of pride for nothing which is a typical Nigerian mentality... @Uche2, i think you are just being very selfish and wicked, in fact you are an ingrate, when Mikel came to Chelsea was he not performing, when did Mikel start performing below expectation, if he is that bad as you described him, why have all the coaches that have coached Chelsae in time passed and currently included him in their game plan, that means if he has been off the way Essien has been you will say he is a total disgrace to Africa, but your evil mind will not let you see the good part of your own brother, please go and meet your pastor for deliverance and mind you we the Chelsea fans don't need people like you to be exposing your ugly part on air, keep it in your bedroom.

Well, this is a good one for Mikel, at last some big clubs are interested in him. He and his management should put their heads together and choose the right club between the two that will improve his game, he should go to the club that will encourage him to play a more creative role, which is his natural position, until Morinho converted him to a holding midfielder which has made him an average player instead of an outstanding player which he should be. And please Mikel do not go for the club offering fatter salary but rather go for the one that will take you to the next level. This is the problem wit Nigerian players they just go to any club offering better pay, even if its in Cyprus or Vietnam rather than going to a bigger club offering less pay but a larger platform for glory and laurels, which will eventually enhance their career and their value in the market. Mikel, please think with your head not your stomach. Also embrace discipline and humility both at club and national team levels and you will become a very great player that you have the potential to be. We wish you well, and God's blessings

People are narrow minded and myopic. Why do you want to crucify Uche because he expressed his feelings? You see, average nigerian men are barbaric and primitive! Becuase somebody does not share you view, you want to crucify that fellow. It shows high level of primitiveness, barbarism and nepotism. Mikel is not unknown to all of us, whether Mikel is a top player like Messi, Maria, Fabregas, Song, Mata, Remires, Aguero, YayaToure, Ayew, Alonso etc time will tell. I think we should call a spade a spade! If your brother is not doing well in his place of work which might eventually lead to sack, let him know on time. This season, tell me , which big club in England has not beaten Chelsea? Chelsea is a big club, there may not be room for average player. AVB is still rebuilding, many players must leave the club. You must be surprised to note that Chelsea is the second highest paid club in England, yet they are not getting result. I can assure you, Mikel's days are numbered unless he work harder. I have discovered that no matter the club a player plays for, he enjoys massive goodwill from his country when he is patriotic enough to represent his country the way he does for his club.
Osaze enjoyed a lot of goodwill from Nigerians because of his commitment to the Super Eagles. Enyeama is not an exception. But when commitment to national team starts to dwindle the prayers and good will vanishes.
This is a MIkel that fails to play with commitment when playing for Nigeria. This is a Mikel that was a contributing factor to our missing AFCON next year. This is a Mikel that was celebrating our absence at AFCON next year, on the reason that it will give him enough time for chelsea. This is a Mikel that 'had an injury' when S/E played two friendly games under Keshi only for him to feature for chelsea the following weekend.
It is difficult to remain in a relationship you are the only contributor. Nigerians pray very hard for these players to keep up form in their respective clubs but they turn around to disappoint us when we need them.
I wish Mikel the best of luck though.

Sincerely, i believe people are mixing two point now his chelsea career and his commitment to SE.As for his chelsea career he has to improve take his chance and move else where to relaunch,we all saw van der sah relaunch his career at fulham. It was only a matter of when! If i was a coach, 'd never field a player like Mikel in my midfiels. He is too slow and lazy for a modfield player. I only wonder why Niigerian coaches fail to realize that he is the problem with their midfield. Onky a coach like keshi will talk of buidling a team around lazyand finished players like Mikel and Aiyegbeni.....You need to watch Aiyegbeni's drab display against Sunderland yesterday.....

2b frank mikel is not doing well bcoz his attarking instincts have reduced but he is far better dan so many players that have been scoring. Am not his fan but d presence of mikel stabilizes d chelsea midfield. If mikel is declared surplus today, den another cover up for essien should be sought for. Oriol cant withstand d pressure of playing barca or madrid esp with a man down.
