Victor Anichebe (Everton)
Super Eagles striker Victor Anichebe played for just seven minutes for Everton on Saturday in the Tofees' win over Fulham that did not parade Dickson Etuhu in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Anichebe replaced Daniel Straquausi in the 83rd minute.
Mikel Obi (Chelsea)
John Mikel Obi who has returned to full training for Chelsea after recovering from injury was not listed for last Saturday's 4th Round FA Cup tie against QPR.
He has played 14 league matches for the Blues.
Osaze Odemwingie (West Brom)
Super Eagles striker Osaze Odemwingie was an unused sub in West Brom’s 2-1 loss to Norwich City on Saturday in the 4th round of the FA Cup at the Hawthorns .
Seyi Olofinjana (Hull City), Hope Akpan (Crawley Town)
Seyi Goerge Olofinjana played for 25 minutes on Saturday, coming off the bench in the 65th minute in place of 20 year-old striker Joshua King in Hull City’s 1- loss at the Kingston Communications stadium.
It was Olofinjana’s second FA Cup game this season. Akpan replaced on-loan Arsenal boy Sanchez Watt in the 90th minute. Dele Adebola was not listed.
Sam Sodje (Notts County)
Stevenage pipped Notts County 1-0 at the Lamex stadium on Saturday to ease into the 5th round of the FA Cup. Sodje rose from the bench to replace Gavin Mahoun in the 59th minute.
Shola and Sammy Ameobi (Newcastle United)
In the absence of the Senegal duo of Demba Ba and Pappis Cisse, Shola Ameobi and Leon Best led the lines for Newcastle United but an unfortunate own goal by Mark Williamson in the 76th minute gave the match to Toons’ opponents; Brighton and Hove who play in the third-tier of English football.
Sammy Ameobi was not listed in the game against The Seagulls.
Nwankwo Kanu, Kelvin Etuhu (Portsmouth)
Former Super Eagles captain Nwankwo Kanu was again not listed for Portsmouth on Saturday in Pompey’s 3-0 away win over Peterborough at the London Road stadium. The home team did not list Nicky Ajose for the game. Etuhu played for all 90 minutes in the game ,his second match for his new team and assisted Erik Husepklepp’s goal which was the team’s third and last goal.
Efe Sodeje (Bury Town)
Sam Sodje played his 24th League One game of the season on Saturday in Bury Town’s 3-0 loss away to Rochdale at the Spotland Stadium.
He played for 90 minutes.
Kayode Odejayi, Magnus Okuonghae (Colchester United)
Magnus Okuopnghae delivered another impressive performance for Colchester United on Saturday in the club’s 1-0 win away to Leyton Orient side who conceded an 28th minute own goal .
Okunghae has played 24 League One games for Colchester.
He has been subbed just once, picked up eight yellow cards and one red card. Kayode came on in the 75th minute to replace Gavin Massey.
It was his 26th game of the season for Colchester.
Jonathan Obika (Yeovil Town)
Yeovil Town achieved a sweet victory on Saturday in a 2-1 win over Preston North End at the Puish Stadium. Jonathan Obika played throughout the duration of the game which was his 14th of the season.
The striker who was born on 12 September 1990 has bagged one yellow card so far this season.
Bartholomew Ogbeche (Middlesbrough):
Former Super Eagles striker Bartholomew Ogbeche was not listed for action in Middlesbrough's 1-1 away draw against Sunderland in their fourth round of FA Cup clash at the Stadium of Light.
His only goal for the championship side was against Cardiff City in their 3-2 away win on the 17th of December last year.
He has played nine games in all competitions for the fourth placed team on the npower championship log.
Kennedy Nwanganaga (Genk),Derick Ogbu (OH Leuven)
Genk hammered OH Leuven 5-0 without Kennedy Nwanganga who has played 16 matches for the team this season without a goal. OH had Derick Chuka Ogbu in action for 90 minutes.
He could not score a goal for his team, himself also playing his 16th Jupiler game of the season.
Moses Adams (Westerlo)
Former Flying Eagles midfielder Moses Adams was an unused substitute on Saturday in Westerlo’s 2-0 home loss to Lierse. He has played seven times this season and has been yellow-carded once. The Canada 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup star has seen 501 minutes of action this term.
John Utaka (Montpellier)
Super Eagles forward John Utaka was not listed in Montpellier’s 1-0 away loss to Nice on Saturday.
He has played 20 Ligue 1 games and scored thrice this season.
Vincent Enyeama (Lille)
Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama was on the bench for all 90 minutes on Saturday in Lille’s 3-0 win over Saint Etienne.
He has only been in goal in one Coupe de France game and one Champions League encounter for his team this season.
Chinedu Obasi (Schalke)
Super Eagles forward Chinedu Obasi was in action on Saturday at the Rhein Energie Stadium against Cologne where Schalke hammered the home side 4-1.
Obasi played for 90 minutes.
It was his second match for Steve Hubbs’ team where he is on loan.
Egutu Oliseh (Ergotelis)
Ergotelis suffered a 3-0 bashing in the hands of Olympiakos Piraeus and Egutu Oliseh played for 90 minutes in the game.
It was his 12th game of the season for his team.
Sulaimon Omolade (Panionios)
Sulaimon Omolade was yellow-carded in the 74th minute in Panionios’ 2-0 win over Kerkyra on Saturday at the Stadio Neas Smirris.
He has played 12 times so far this season.
Efe Ambrose (Ashdod)
Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose played his 20th league game for FC Ashdod on Saturday in the team’s 1-1 draw against Hapoel Acre that paraded Fidelis Tochukwu Dimaku.
Dele Aiyenugba (Bnei Yehuda)
Super Eagles goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba was in goal on Saturday in Bnei Yehuda’s 2-2 draw against Bnei Sakhnim away at the Doha Stadium.
Christian Obodo, Edward Ofere (Lecce); Joel Obi (Inter Milan):
Super Eagles midfielder Joel Obi played for 72 minutes for Inter Milan and was replaced by Ricardo Alvarez as they lost by a lone goal to Lecce who paraded Christian Obodo for 11 minutes of the encounter.
It was Obi's 15th appearance for the Nerazzurri this term, and he is yet to score since breaking into the first team; while Obodo who replaced Guillermo Gonzalo in the 79th played his 16th game of the season. Ofere, is yet to add to his six appearances.
Stefano Okaka (Parma)
Stefano Okaka was brought into the fray in the 69th minute in place of Jeremy Baiabiany in Parma’s 1-1 draw against Catania on Saturday at the Stadio Angelo Massimino.
It was his first game for the club he is on loan at.
Nnamdi Oduamadi, Osaretein Ebagua (Torino)
The duo of Nnamdi Oduamadi and Osaretein Ebagua were in action on Saturday in Torino’s away goalless draw against Varese.
Oduamadi replaced Alen Stevanovic in the 76th minute while Ebagua came on in place of Juan Ignacio Surraco in the 83rd minute.
They have both played 5 and 20 times respectively in the Serie B this season.
Obiora Nwankwo (Gubbio)
Former U-23 star Obiora Nwankwo played for 90 minutes in Gubbio’s 0-0 draw at home against Sampdoria. The game at Gubbio’s Stadio Pietro Barbetti was his fourth of the season.
Sone Aluko (Rangers)
Omatsone Aluko scored a 72nd minute goal for Rangers in a 4-0 destruction of Hibernian on Saturday.
The goal was Rangers’ third goal of the day and his second of the campaign in eight games. He has played 645 minutes of games this term.
Odion Jude Ighalo; Ikechukwu Uche (Granada):
Odion Ighalo scored his second goal of the season in the 13th minute of Granada's 2-1 away win over Real Betis at the Benito Villamarín stadium on Sunday and was yellow carded in the 82nd minute of the game.
It was his 13th appearance in his debut season in the La Liga.
His compatriot Ikechukwu Uche who was not listed for action has played 18 games scoring just one goal.
John Ogu (União de Leiria):
Nigerian midfielder John Ogu scored his second goal in the Portuguese league in União de Leiria's 2-1 home loss to Paços de Ferreira at the Magalhães Pessoa stadium on Sunday.
It was Ogu's fourth appearance for Leiria since joining as a free agent.
Uche Nwofor (VVV Venlo)
Former Flying Eagles striker Uche Nwofor played for 72 minutes in Venlo's 4-0 away loss to RKC Waalwijk at the Mandemakers stadium on Sunday.
He was replaced by Yannick Wildschut in the encounter and was yellow carded in the 59th minute of the encounter.
He has so far played 13 games in the Eredivisie this season with two goals to his credit.
Isaac Promise (Manisaspor):
Super Eagles fringe striker Isaac Promise played the entire duration of Manisaspor's 2-1 loss away to Karabükspor and fired blanks at the Necmettin S,eyhoglu stadium on Sunday.
The Nigerian has scored eight times so far in 21 appearances for the 15th placed team on the Turkish log.
Ekigho Ehiosun (Samsunspor):
Ekhigo Ehiosun played his 20th game but failed to add to his three-goal tally in Samsunspor's 4-2 home loss to I.stanbul BB at the Mayis stadium on Sunday. The ex Warri Woves star scored a brace for Samsunspor in their 4-2 loss to Galatasaray on the 7th of January.
Michael Eneramo (Sivasspor):
Forgotten Super Eagles striker Michael Eneramo scored his eight goal of the season in Sivasspor's 2-1 loss to Gaziantepspor at the Kamil Ocak stadium on Sunday.
It was his 19th appearance of the the season.
Joseph Yobo (Fenerbahçe); Nduka Ozorkwo (Mersin I.dmanyurdu):
Super Eagles skipper Joseph Yobo played the entire duration of Fenerbache's 2-1 win at home to Mersin I.dmanyurdu who benched Ozokwo at the S,ükrü Saracoglu stadium on Sunday.
It was Yobo's 22nd appearance for the club since joining on loan.
He has also bagged two yellow cards, while Ozorkwo has played 22 times and scored twice.
