SENEGAL LIST 15 EURO STARS FOR DREAM TEAM

Senegalese Olympic team coach Abdoulaye Sarr has called up 15 foreign-based professionals to beef up his team ahead of the London 2012 Olympic qualifiers billed to hold in Morocco from the 26th of November to the 10th of December.

The team, billed to face Egypt in a two-legged friendly in Alexandria on the 11th and 14th of this month, are pooled alongside Nigeria, Algeria and hosts Morocco.

Sarr invited eight players from France, two from Spain, three from Portugal and one each from Norway and Belgium.

"Since the draw was made, we know that it won't be easy in the group, but I hope the FSF are preparing for this very well. It's very important for us and for the reconstruction of the national team at the highest level," he told senegalfoot.sn.

"We must win our first game to stand a chance of qualifying for the semifinals because we are up against two strong teams in Nigeria and hosts Morocco."

The foreign-based players invited include: Papa Demba Camara (FC Sochaux), Zarco Toure (US Bolougne), Joseph Romeric (Sochaux), Abdoulaye Sane ( Rennes), Omar Wade (LOSC Lille), Abdou Kadre (AJ Auxerre), Ibrahima Sec (Epinal) - all from France.

Also listed for the qualifiers include Ibrahima Balde and Pape Diaman from Osasuna and Rayo Vallecano;  Moussa Konate from Maccabi Tel-Aviv in Isreal, Alpha Ba from Gantoise in Belgium, Ciss Saliou from Tromso Island in Norway, Kalidou Coulibali from FC Porto and Abdoulaye Ba from Academica de Coimbra in Portugal.

The home-based players who made the list include Stephane Badji and Paul Emile from Casa Sports, Omar Baye from Niasse Sports Union of Goree and Ousmane Diambras from MANE.
