Work Permit Delays Eagles Star As Nedum Onuoha Debuts For QPR


FOOTBALL:

Queen Parks Rangers new signing, Taye Taiwo will miss today’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Chelsea at the Loftus  Road.

The Nigeria International could not obtain work permit on time and would have to wait further before making his debut for his new side.

Taiwo who joined QPR on loan from AC Milan for the rest of the season spent at Nigerian embassy in London.

Meanwhile, his countryman Nedum Onuoha has been registered for the clash and will be competing for a place in Mark Hughes back four.

The 25-year link up with his former manager at QPR after completing a £2.5 million switch from leader, Manchester City on Thursday.

He was little more than a fringe player at city this season, having spent last form on loan at Sunderland and could now enjoy more playing at the modest  side.

Onuoha could paired Anton Ferdinard the man who was alleged to have been racially abused by Chelsea captain John Terry when both teams first met in October.
