Shooting Stars of Ibadan could not break their away duck in the Premier League but heaped blames on the match officials for their 2-1 defeat Wednesday in bauchi by hosts, Wikki Tourists.

The oluyole Warriors returned to base Thursady with tales of frustration by the match arbitars.

"Honestly it was a horrible thing the way the referee conducted the match. You know we never complained about referees because we know they are human being who can make mistakes", states Jubril Arowolo, spokesman of the club.

"Wikki Tourists goals were without blames and we cannot contest that at all. But immediately we pulled one back, the referee perhaps out of sentiment decided our strikers should not go beyond the half way line.

"Every of our moves were cut off on grounds of either offside or imaginary infingement and this is not good for our football.

"So far the season has been running smoothly and it could only be ruined by such acts of bizzare officiating which we can only call on the NPL and the NRA to put eyes in clean waters before appointing referees for matches", Arowolo said.
