Home Eagles Captain Targets Victory In Kigali
Home Eagles captain Chigozie Agbim has declared his readiness to learn from Lille of France goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama as the former Enyimba of Aba safe hands is among the 11 foreign based players invited by coach Stephen Keshi for the February 29 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda.
“I am happy to be in the team, since we came here, we have been doing our best to make sure that we justify our invitation. If the coaches have decided to invite Vincent Enyeama who has been there before me, I will say it is a good idea and it will be an opportunity for me to learn from him. Nobody has the monopoly of knowledge and I always make it a point of duty to learn from every situation or place I find myself,” says the Home Eagles captain.
“The most important thing for us is to go to Kigali and make sure that we win the game because the coaches have told us that the game is a must win and we are all working towards achieving that. We had a good game against Liberia last week and we want to improve on that."
Agbim who also reflected on the Liberia game said it was not easy beating the Lone Star but Eagles were determined to return with victory in the game.
