Teammates of Nigerian winger and CSKA Moscow new import, Ahmed Musa, are already banking on him to help the team create an upset against Spanish giants, Real Madrid, in tomorrow’s UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg encounter between the two sides in Moscow.

Musa who joined the Army Men from struggling Dutch side, VVV Venlo, during the last winter transfer shortly after completing the switch also expressed his strong desire to test his might against the likes of Portuguese superstar Christiano Ronaldo in the UCL, having being compared with the soccer idol by his fans due to his style of play, and after featuring in a couple of games for the Russian side, his colleagues are beginning to put a ‘Messiah’ tag on him for his prowess.

''I am already conversant with the newcomer in the team. In the match against Shakhtar, I repeatedly interacted with Musa and I was able to note that this is an interesting player. I am sure we will play well with him and the rest of the newcomers in the team,'' says the Ivorien international, Seydou Doumbia, to Bobsoccer.ru.

The three Africans at CSKA Moscow - Ahmed Musa, Sekou Oliseh and Seydou Doumbia – have also promised that they would celebrate together with a continental dance should any of them score against Real Madrid.
