Israel Based Nigerian Star Says He Is Ready To Play Under Keshi
Super Eagles goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba has charged the senior national team under coach Stephen Keshi to ensure they beat Rwanda in the February 29 African Cup of Nations qualifier in Kigali.
The Israeli based former Enyimba of Aba goalie who is wishing the team a successful game against the Amavubi said he was impressed with the determination and seriousness of both the players and the technical crew headed by Coach Stephen Keshi.
According to Aiyenugba, the team presently camped at the Bolton White Apartment in Abuja has demonstrated that Nigerian football can be taken to a greater height.
"Well, I feel happy hearing and reading about what the team is doing, I read about the friendly games played recently and I am very happy and I must also congratulate them for that," says the goalie.
"The fact that I am not in camp does not mean that I am not part of the team, I can only wish them a
successful game in Kigali and I pray that they return with victory," he added.
The former Kwara United player who was part of the team that failed to qualify Nigeria for the 2012 African Cup of Nations, has again appealed to Nigerians to forget the edition and focus on how to qualify for the 2013 edition.
He also told Complete Sports that he is ready to play under Coach Stephen Keshi if invited for any of the games the team will play in the 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
