BABANGIDA LAUDS YAK, KAITA EAGLES RECALL

Esrtwhile Super Eagles striker, Tijani Babangida, has praised the decision of team coach Stephen Keshi, to recall the duo of Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Sanni Kaita back into the national team.
The duo last featured for the two-time Kings of Africa at the FIFA 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Aiyegbeni was widely criticized for missing glit edged chances against Greece and South Korea, which hindered Nigeria`s progress at the mundial.
Kaita, on the other hand received a red-card in the West African country’s second game against the Greeks and that effectively turned the team against his team at the European rallied to win the game 2-1.


The former Ajax Amsterdam of Holland forward said with the current goal scoring form of Yakubu Aiyegbeni for Blackburn Rovers cannot be overlooked, as he can deliver the goods in the all important 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Rwanda in Kigali while Sanni Kaita will be playing the game to appease the fans for his mistakes in South Africa and win back their love.
“The Coach Stephen Keshi has surprised us all with the list he has released.” Babangida begins.
“The players are very vital to the team before their outcast from the squad but calling them back now is a right in the right direction for Nigeria football especially against Rwanda.”
“This recall will strengthen the team knowing fully well that Nigeria local league players too are fighting it hard to claim the post of the foreign pros.”
