The 28th Edition of the Monthly Saturday Boxing Show comes alive again on Saturday February 25, 2012, as upcoming boxers from different boxing clubs in the state will be showcasing their skills.

This month's event which comes up inside the Mobolaji Johnson Indoor Sports Hall, Rowe Park, Yaba, Lagos, is slated for 3.00 pm.

The first bout of the day will see both Tunde Sumade of Ola Akins Boxing Club and Sulaimon Afisi of Olu Omo Boxing Club, in the 60 Kg going head-to-head; while Israel Akinola,  (Golden Star Boxing Club) and Idris Ibraheem   (Kudi Abiola Boxing Club) in the 50 KG, will try each other for size.

Other bouts include Shina Balogun,  (Kudi Abiola Boxing Club) versus Qudus Aliu (Teberson Boxing Club), in the 75 Kg, while Tajudeen Sodiq  (Golden Boxing Club) and Peter Bender  (Lion Boxing Club), both in the 68 Kg class, will also take centre stage.
