Declare Free Food For First 100 Fans
Smarting from their 3-0 loss to Bayelsa United on Thursday, City of David FC of Lagos will attempt to return to winning ways as they host Gateway United FC of Abeokuta on Sunday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
The game which is the second home game for the host, promises to keep football fans on the edge of their seats, given the current form of both teams in the on-going Pro-League Division. COD had defeated Bendel Insurance 2-1 in their season’s opening match while Gateway which currently occupies third position on the log had beaten Insurance 1-0 in their last game.
The encounter kicks off at 4pm with fans paying a paltry sum of N500 for the cover stands while fans on the popular side need not pay to watch this much anticipated encounter.
C.o.d united has been innovative with a raffle draw where various gifts including the star prize of a brand new motorcycle will be won. Other prizes include c.o.d united jerseys, club dvds and so on. It would be recalled that Mr Jibola Adetayo won the first motorcycle at the Bendel Insurance match.
