Changes Team’s Training Time
Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, apparently determined to condition his players very well to the weather challenge ahead of the February 29 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali, will train the team under the biting Abuja sun later today, Complete Sports can confirm.
The Home Eagles returned from Liberia last week after beating the senior national team of that West African country 2-0 in a friendly game played in Monrovia, and the coaching crew not willing to leave anything to chance have ordered the players back to camp to commence preparation immediately for the all-important qualifier.
Complete Sports gathered that the team will train under the scorching sun in the nation’s capital city since the match itself in Kigali has been fixed for 1. p.m Nigerian time.
“The tranining session will start by 2.00 p.m because the match in Kigali will hold in the afternoon,” the camp source confirmed.
The Home Eagles will be joined by the 11 foreign based players invited for the encounter and the team will depart the shores of the country next week Monday for the game that had been dubbed as the ‘battle of Kigali.’
