The NNL week 3 group A match between JUTH FC of Jos and the group’s table toppers, Spotlight of katsina has been carefully picked by organizers as the star match of the week. With two wins from two matches, making them to top the group with six points, katsina based Spotlight FC will take a victory song to battle NNL league returnees, JUTH FC. Also in the group, second placed El-kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will seek to maintain its promotion quest when it confronts visiting 36 Lions in Maiduguri, while  Sardauna FC of kano will host the struggling Tijana Babangida managed  FC Taraba lions in Maiduguri, while  Sadaiy faces  FC Taraba, as FRSC, having forfeited three points and three goals for failing to honour week two match against El-kanemi in Maiduguri for fear of Boko Haram, will try to cover lost ground in Abuja against visiting Ranchers Bees FC  of kaduna.

In group B,Zamfara United will lock horns with Kogi United in Gusau ,while the Nigeria Air Force sponsored  NAF rockets of Abuja will take the battle to Plateau United in Jos.Adamawa United will host Sokoto United in a battle to maintain a favourable position on the table,while new entrants,Giwa FC of Jos will host rejuvenated  Nasarawa United in Jos.
Fresh from a slim 1-0 victory against Unicem Rovers in a rescheduled week two match, Nembe city FC  will ignite actions in Group C when it plays host to visiting Go Round FC of Port Harcourt in Yenegoa, while Unicem Rovers  of Calabar will welcome hostilities from its sister state outfit, Akwa starlets  at the  beautiful UJ Esuene stadium in Calabar. This group will also witness a great South West battle when former Super Eagles defender, Ademola Adeshina  will  ensure that his technical guidance will lead his young side, Prime FC to victory against Remo FC,as Abia Comets looks set to grab the maximum points against visiting Gray international FC in Umuahia.

In Group D, COD will play host to Gateway FC of Abeokuta, while veteran coaches, Niyi Akande and Godfrey Esu will lead hard fighting Crown FC of Ogbomosho to battle Bayelsa United in Yenegoa. Benin Arsenal,Bendel insurance FC will seek glory in the hands of Illa FC while Abia Warriors will ensure an outright win against Bridge boys,if they would want to be in contention for promotion this season.
