NBBF CALLS FOR TECHNICAL IMPROVEMENT

President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), Tijjani Umar, has urged technical officials who attended the just concluded 3-day NBBF Technical Seminar which ended in Abuja on Monday to put into good use all what they learnt when the DStv/NBBF Premier Basketball League and the NBBF/Zenith Bank Women League seasons and other competitions commence this year.
Speaking in Abuja on Monday at the Press Centre of the Hockey Pitch Package-B of the Abuja National Stadium, the NBBF helmsman said in his remark during the closing ceremony of the seminar that the progress of the game in the country depends largely on their officiating capabilities.
The seminar which was aimed at educating the technical officials in the sport of the modern rules of the game was attended by referees, match commissioners, statisticians, coaches and table officials.
