Ex International Says 3-0 Win is Well Deserved
Former Nigerian international and Coach of Lobi Stars, John Zaki has described his wards' massive 3-0 win against Ocean Boys as proof of hard work.
The week 9 encounter took place at Lobi's adopted home, Abuja Thursday.
Former Bayelsa United striker, Jonah Abutu scored Lobi's first goal in the 19th minute and striker, Henry Akile doubled the lead in the 49th minute while former Enyimba playmaker, David Tyavkase sealed the day's victory in the 71st minute.
The victory has taken Lobi's points to nine from possible 24 points.
The former Nigerian international told SuperSport.com that they worked for their emphatic victory.
"It's a well deserved victory, we worked very hard for it.
"I won't say Ocean Boys were cheap, they came here to win.
"I can only say we were better in this game.
"We took our chances, I am happy we picked the maximum points. I pray we take up from there in our next matches," he said.
Lobi will be guests of Kano Pillars in a week10 this weekend.
