Scoring goals is a gift and sometimes luck, not every goalscorer can reproduce this ability year in year out, probable it's time to talk about the best in Nigeria.
YEKINI RASHID, he is the best Nigerian ever, he played 58 matches for Nigeria and scored 37 times. He played for Setuba of Portugal and scored 90goals in 108 appearance, he scored 34 goals in 30 matches in a season.
People talk about Owubokiri, i saw him play and won the best goal scorer in the 1981/82 season, he scored 9 goals and Wakilu Oyenuga came second with 8 goals .He scored 30 goals in 34 matches in Portugal, but he scored only 1 goal in 28 matches for the Eagles.
Yakubu AIYEGBENI. he will be my second best goal scorer, he has consistently scored for every team he plays for, and scored a lot of goals for Nigeria, he has scored 95 goals in the premier league.
SEGUN ODEGBAMI will take the 3rd place, i watched him scored many goals for IICC , and he scored over 20 goals for the Eagles. one unique thing about Odegbami , he creates a lot of oppurtunities for his team mates more than any Nigerian.

Some players scores but the goals comes after the game has been lost, and i will put Okocha in this category, he scores gabage time goals, the goals that does not help the course of your team, but just make you look good on paper.
There are also many other goals scorers like Thompson Usiyen, Ikpeba, Henry Ogboe, Amunike, Finidi, Obafemi, Martins and Peter Odewinge.
We can all contribute to who we know to be goal scorers.
