ENGLAND

John Obi Mikel (Chelsea): Super Eagles midfielder John Obi Mikel played his 17th Premier League game for Chelsea on Saturday as the Blues romped to a 4-2 away win over Aston Villa at the Villa Park. Mikel was in great form and could be credited with some encouraging forays and a superlative attempt at goal.

Victor Anichebe (Everton), Osaze Odemwingie (West Brom): Super Eagles striker Victor Anichebe scored a 68th minute goal on Saturday for Everton, six minutes after replacing Tim Cahill in Everton's 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion that paraded Osaze Odemwingie for 90 minutes. Anichebe has now scored four goals this season in nine games. Osaze has played in 25 matches in the EPL this season and still has nine goals to his name.

Dickson Etuhu(Fulham): Super Eagles midfielder Dickson Etuhu played for just seven minutes on Saturday in Fulham's hard fought 2-1 win over battling Norwich City, replacing Bryan Ruiz. Etuhu was yellow-carded in the 88th minute.

Shola Ameobi, Sammy Ameobi (Newcastle): Super Eagles invitee Shola Ameobi replaced Senegal international Papiss Cisse in the 74th minute as Newcastle increased their advantage over Liverpool to 11 points with a 2-0 home win at the St James Park. It was Ameobi's 23rd game for the Magpies this season albeit scoring two goals and providing three assist for Alan Pardew's men.

Taye Taiwo,Nedum Onuoha (QPR): Super Eagles left back Taiye Taiwo played from start to finish in QPR's heartwarming 2-1 win over Arsenal who lost their seven-game winning streak. Taiwo was in good form with some timely clearances, while Nedum Onuoha operated from the right back. The game was Taiwo's 8th game of the season while Onuoha has nine matches to his credit so far.

Victor Moses(Wigan): Victor Moses scored in the 93rd minute, the second of Wigan's goals in their 2-0 win over Stoke City at the DW Stadium on Saturday. The Eagles one-cap striker has thus scored four goals in the EPL this season and it was his 30th EPL game of the season.

Kelvin Etuhu (Portsmouth): The younger brother of Super Eagles midfielder, Dickson Etuhu, Kelvin, like penultimate weekend, replaced Joel Ward, in the 69th minute as Portsmouth were battered 5-1 by Burnley at Fratton Park. It was Etuhu's 8th game of the season.

Bartholomew Ogbeche (Middlesbrough): Former Super Eagles striker Bartholomew Ogbeche played for just six minutes on Saturday at the American Express Communication Stadium, replacing Lukas Jutkiewicz in the 84th minute. He has now played 15 games in the Championship.

Seyi Olofinjana (Hull City): Forgotten Super Eagles midfielder Seyi George Olofinjana was not listed in Hull City's 0-2 home loss to Coventry City at the Kingston Communicattion Stadium. The combative grafter has played just twice for the Tigers this term. It was Hull City's fifth consecutive defeats this season.

Efe Sodje (Bury Town): Former Super Eagles defender Efe Sodje scored in the 67th minute to help Bury Town defeat Tranmere Rovers 2-0 at Gigg Lane on Saturday. The strike by the centre back was his second of the season. He has played 32 matches in the League One this season.

ITALY

Obiora Nwankwo(Gubbio): Former U-23 star Obiora Nwankwo scored an 85th minute goal in Gubbio's 2-1 home loss to Liverno at Stadio Pietro on Saturday. The goal was his first goal of the campaign for the club. It was Obiora's 12th game in the Serie B thus far.

Nnamdi Oduamadi(Torino): Former U-23 star Nnamdi Oduamadi was not listed in Torino's 1-0 loss to Empoli on Saturday. Nigerian-born Italian star, Angelo Ogbonna, was in action for all 90 minutes.

Joel Chukwuma Obi (Inter Milan): Super Eagles midfielder Joel Obi played the last 15 minutes for Inter Milan as they edged out Genoa by the odd goal in a nine-goal thriller at the Stadio San Siro as new coach Andrea Stramaccioni made an emphatic start to life in charge of the Nerazzurri. The 20-year-old player replaced Diego Forlán in the 75th minute of the encounter. He has so far played 21 games and is yet to score a goal for Inter this season.

Christian Obodo, Edward Ofere (Lecce): Forgotten Super Eagles midfielder Christian Obodo was not listed for Lecce as they played out a goalless against Cesena at the Via Del Mare stadium. He has so far played 21 games in the Serie A this term. He has one assist to his name and has attempted 11 shots at goal; while his compatriot, Ofere, who is currently recuperating was also not listed.


GERMANY

Chinedu Obasi (Schalke 04): Super Eagles forward Chinedu Obasi was in action for 26 minutes on Sunday after coming off the bench to replace Lewis Holtby in the 64th minute as Schalke played a 1-1 draw away to his former club TSG Hoffenheim at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena on Sunday.

The game was Obasi's 9th Bundesliga game of the season for the Gelsenkirchen side this season. Obasi has started in five of those matches and played four times as a sub. Klaas Jan Huntelaar struck in the 80th minute from the spot after he was fouled in the box by Andreas Beck. Obasi has scored just once since his winter switch from Hoffeiheim.

Anthony Ujah(Mainz 05): Former U-23 invitee Anthony Ujah was not listed in Mainz's 3-0 bashing of Weder Bremen on Saturday. The Warri-born forward has 22 appearances to his name this term.

Seyi Olajengbesi(Alemmania Aachen): Former Super Eagles and 3SC defender Seyi Olajengbesi played for 90 minutes in his 26th Bundesliga 2 game of the season last Saturday when Aachen  were pipped Dynamo Dresden 1-0 on Friday. It was the sixth consecutive defeats of the team this season.

Macauley Chrisantus (FSV Frankfurt): Former Flying Eagles striker Macauley Chrisantus played his 23rd game for FSV Frankfurt in their 1-1 away draw against Energie Cottbus at the der Freundschaft stadium on Sunday. He replaced Michael Gorlitz in the 74th minute of the encounter. He has so far notched up eight goals and provided two assist for FSV Frankurt who are 14th on the Bundesliga 2 log.

SPAIN

Ikechukwu Uche(Granada): Super Eagles striker Ikechukwu Uche was felled in the 18-yard box a minute before regulation time which resulted in Granada's penalty and goal converted by Guilherme Siqueira as the club stole a 1-0 away win over Racing Santander at the Campus Sardinero on Saturday.
Uche has now played 28 matches in the La Liga this season, making 21 starts in those games. He has three goals to his credit thus far.

Sunday Stephen(Numancia): Sunday Stephen was introduced in the 62nd minute as Numancia pipped Recreativo Huelva 1-0 on Saturday. The match was the 22nd of the season for the one-cap Eagles midfielder who represented Spain in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2007 held in Canada. 'Oryan' has scored one goal,made 16 starts and has been booked seven times- six yellow cards and one red card. Stephen has played a total of 1,469 minutes this season in the second tier of Spanish club football.

HOLLAND

Uchebo Michael, Uche Nwofor, Alex Nkume (VVV Venlo): Former Flying Eagles striker Uche Nwofor was replaced in the 75th minute by Michael Uchebo in Venlo's 2-0 away loss to PSV on Saturday. Alex Emenike Nkume was on the bench for the entire duration of the game. Nwofor has scored five goals this season, while Uchebo has one goal to his credit. Nkume has played nine matches so far this season.

Kenneth Omeruo (ADO Den Haag): Flying Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo played his fifth game for ADO Den Haag as they were pipped by a lone goal by RKC Waalwijk at the Mandemakers Stadium on Sunday. He has been yellow-carded once since joining on a season loan from Chelsea.

PORTUGAL

Elderson Echiejile (Braga): Super Eagles left back Elderson Echiejile scored an 82nd minute goal, prodding home from close range off a corner kick, five minutes after being at fault for
Braga. He conceded a penalty against Benfica which was converted by Axiel Wixel. It was Echiejile's fourth goal of the season in 21 league appearances. He has been yellow-carded six times so far this season.

FRANCE

Vincent Enyeama (Lille): Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama was yet again an unused substitute for Lille in their 2-0 home win over Toulouse at the Lille Métropole stadium over the weekend. He is yet to feature for the current Ligue 1 champions this term in the league.

UKRAINE

Brown Ideye, Haruna Lukman Yusuf Ayila (Dynamo Kiev): Nigerian striker Brown Ideye scored his 12th goal of the Ukrainian season for Dynamo Kiev in their 3-1 home win over Chornomorets at the Valery Lobanovsky stadium on Sunday. It was his 23rd appearance for the Ukrainian league leaders.
He was replaced by Dynamo Kiev legend Andriy Shevchenko who also capped his return with a goal in the encounter.

His compatriot, Haruna Lukman, who is bereaved played all 90 minutes and was yellow carded in the 24th minute. It was his 12th game of the season. Yusuf Ayila who was not listed for the encounter has so far played ten games.

Micheal Odibe (Arsenal Kyiv): One-cap Super Eagles defender Michael Odibe returned to the starting line-up of Arsenal Kyiv in their 2-1 away win over Oleksandria at the Nika Oleksandriya stadium on Sunday.

It was his 13th game of the season for the club and he has scored two goals.

Dele Adeleye, Fernando Adi, Abdul Afolabi, Jamiu Alimi (Tavriya): Super Eagles defender Dele Adeleye was in action for 90 minutes on Saturday as Tavriya lost 0-2 to Dnipro. Adeleye has thus played 15 league matches this season. Abdul Afolabi replaced Michael Ljubicic in the 80th minute, while Alimi was an unused sub. Fernando Adi also came on in the 46th minute in place of Maksim Feschuk.

RUSSIA

Obafemi Martins (Rubin Kazan): Back to form Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins scored his first goal in the Russian league for Rubin Kazan in the 50th minute as they pipped star studded Anzhi Makhachkala on Sunday.

It was his sixth game of the season for the Rubin who are placed sixth on the championship log. He was replaced in the 57th minute by Sergey Davydov in the encounter. Ansaldi played a perfect pass to the former Inter Milan striker, Martins, and he raced past bulky Samba to beat the goalie's for the only goal of the encounter.

Victor Obinna (Locomotiv Moscow): Fit-again Super Eagles winger cum striker Victor Obinna played his ninth game for Locomotiv Moscow when he replaced Vladislav Ignatyev in the 61st minute in Locomotiv Moscow's 2-0 home loss to Dinamo Moskva on Sunday. He has scored only one goal for the club this term.

Ahmed Musa (CSKA Moscow): Super Eagles winger Ahmed Musa played for 21 minutes on Saturday, introduced in the 69th minute of CSKA’s 1-1 draw aginst Kuban Krasnoder. Musa has played a total of 310 minutes of club football so far this season.

Emmanuel Emenike(Spartak Moscow): Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike played for 90 minutes for Spartak in their 1-2 home loss to Zenit on Saturday. It was his 16th Russian Premier League game of the season.

Isaac Okoronkwo (Rostov): Former Super Eagles defender Isaac Okoronkwo played for 90 minutes in Rostov’s 2-0 away loss to Volga on Saturday. It was his 28th Russian Premier League game of the season for the one-time Iwuanyanwu Nationale (now Heartland) ace.

TURKEY

Michael Eneramo (Sivasspor): Out of favour Super Eagles striker Michael Eneramo played for 90 minutes on Saturday in Sivassspor’s 1-0 home loss to Istanbul BB. Eneramo has scored 10 goals this season for his club.

Isaac Promise (Manisaspor): Former U-20 and U-23 captain Isaac Promise played for 90 minutes against his former club Genclebirligi on Saturday. It was the 30th Turkish League game for the Grays International product. Promise has scored 11 league goals for Umit Ozat’s men this season.

Ekigho Ehiosun, Simon Zenke (Samsunspor): Super Eagles striker Ekigho Ehiosun played for 82 minutes and fired blanks in Samsumpsor's 1-0 win over Bes,iktas, at the Fiyapi I.nönü stadium on Sunday.

The former Warri Wolves hitman who has now scored nine times in 29 games for Mesut Bakkal's men. His compatriot and former Flying Eagles star, Simon Zenke, was banished form the first team a fort night ago was not listed for action but has played 22 times for his club this season, scoring only one goal.

Joseph Yobo (Fernabahce): Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo played for 90 minutes in Fernabahce's 1-1 draw away to Trabzonspor win over Bursaspor at the Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadium on Sunday. Yobo has played 32 times for his title chaing side so far. He has starred in all of his team's matches, scoring one goal and receiving two yellow cards in the process.

BELGIUM

Joseph Akpala (Club Brugge), Ken Nwanganga (Genk): Super Eagles fringe striker Joseph Akpala continues his rich vein of form for his Jupiler side Club Brugge over the weekend as he scored a 61st minute goal for  in his club’s 2-0 win over Genk that had Kennedy Nwanganga on the bench for all 90 minutes. The goal was Akpala’s 14th of the season in 28 matches. He has made 15 starts and 13 substitute appearances in 1,521 minutes of club football. Nwanganga has played 17 times without scoring a single goal so far.

SCOTLAND

Sone Aluko(Rangers): Omatsone Aluko was given a yellow card in the 29th minute as Rangers defeated Motherwell 2-1 away at the Fir Park. It was Aluko’s 15th game of the season in the SPL. Aluko scored a contender for the goal of the week penultimate weekend which was his fifth of the season.

ISRAEL

Dele Aiyenugba (Bnei Yehuda): Super Eagles goalie Dele Aiyenugba kept a clean slate in Bnei Yehuda’s 1-0 win over Maccabi Netanya on Saturday.
