Ivanovic: I'm not for Real

Branislav Ivanovic has shrugged off the prospect of signing for Real Madrid, saying he is quite happy to stay with Chelsea.

The La Liga champions have expressed interest in acquiring the Champions League winner's services after Jose Mourinho told the media he admires the Serbia international, who can play at right-back as well as in central defence.

Ivanovic has become a key member of the Blues squad since joining from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2008 and was influential in their FA Cup and UEFA Champions League triumphs.

The burly defender now seems keen to continue serving the west Londoners despite being offered the chance to play for the esteemed Los Merengues.

Speaking after Serbia's 2-0 friendly defeat to Spain, Ivanovic told Marca: "Yes, I know that a lot has been said about my future and that Madrid is interested and tracking me.

"I know that Madrid is interested, but now isn't the time to be talking about that.

"I'm focused on the national team at the moment and I'm really happy at Chelsea and in London.
"I just won the Champions League a week ago and changing teams is not in my thoughts right now.”
