3SC Crash as Uzoenyi Powers Rangers to next Stage

Super Eagles midfielder, EjikeUzoenyi, was on target Monday as Rangers edged past Hajaig of Jigawa 2-1 in one of the Federation Cup round of 60 games decided at Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan.

Meanwhile, FAME ACADEMY of Lagos caused the first major upset in this year’s competition following a 2-0 defeat of Premier League side, Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC of Ibadan.

Leading scorer, OsagonaIghodaro, shot 3SC into the lead in the 38th minute but the youngsters replied with two goals from ObiejeUgochukwu and Adigwe Victor who struck five minutes from time to seal their win.
