Espanyol Ready To Sell Kalu Uche If...

RCD Espanyol are already aware that their Nigerian import Kalu Uche may ditch the club before the summer transfer window closes in August if a right suitor emerges, Complete Sports can report.

The Super Eagles attacking midfielder is courting the interest of Turkish giants Galatasaray and according to the Chief Executive Officer of the club, Joan Collet, the management will be willing to listen to all offers that may come the way of the 30-year-old player who emerged as the top scorer for the club last term despite arriving midway into the season.

“We will sit down to talk. If he decides to stay with us, we would be happy, but we will want him to have a say in the whole matter after analyzing his future,” the club boss declared.

Uche arrived on a free from Xamax Neuchatel during the last winter break after the modest Swiss club was declared bankrupt, and any move will be beneficial economically to both parties if he chose to leave according to the reports.

The Nigerian scored 6 goals in 15 appearances for Espanyol to help them stay out of relegation waters towards the close of last season.

Espanyol will however be hoping that young striker Alvaro Vazquez stay back with them by renewing his existing  contact that is expected to run till next year- though they will still be looking to beef up their attack ahead of the commencement of the season.

Another club that is showing interest in luring the former Bordeaux star from Spain is Mexican side the Tigers.
