Premier League contender for the hotshot award, Chikeluba Ofoedu will be available for Rangers Manager, Okey Emordi when he files out his troop against relegation haunted Ocean Boys today in Yenagoa.
Ofoedu rejoined the league leaders at the weekend after an unsuccessful trials at Norwagian club, Rosenborg and was able to make Emordi's cut for the week 34 game away to ocean Boys.
"Ofoedu returned on Friday and made the team to Yenagoa against Ocean Boys", informs Rangers spokesman, Foster Chime.
Rangers are top on the table with 55 points and will need an outright victory in this crunchy tie with the home side aiming to reverse the 4-0 humiliation they suffered in Enugu in the first round game.
Although Rangers will be without Alhaji Giro who is in the national U-20 team with coach John Obuh refusing to release the player for today's club duties, his absence will be cautioned by the availability of Super Eagles mid-fielder, Ejike Uzoenyi.
Enyimba will be away to Lobi Stars in Katsina Ala in a tricky fixture. Both sides drew 0-0 in their first round game in Aba.
Kano Pillars trip to Sharks completes a mid-week fixture where all the top four contenders will be away from home just as 4th placed Dolphins will be seeking to get one past hosts, Heartland after a 1-1 first round stalemate in Port Harcourt.
Shooting Stars will continue their resurgence in the Premier League with a trip to Jigawa Golden Stars at Hadeija.
3SC won the first round tie at Adamasingba Stadium 1-0 and will look to go one more at the expense of the relegation haunted hosts.
