Idoko: We're Sure Of Victory
Posted: Aug 04, 2012
Top Sunshine Stars official, Mike Idoko is confident the side can bag their first win in the competition despite failing to register a goal in their fisrt two games in the mini league stage of the Orange CAF Champions League.Idoko is bullish of his team’s chances against the Algerians, who are bottom of Group A as they have lost their two group games thus far.
“This game is very important to us and everybody here is aware. We will put in everything within our capacity to see that we win the game,” he declared.”It is a must-win game for us because victory over Aso Chlef could well determine our fate in this competition.
Our draw with Etoile in Sousse and the victory over Warri Wolves in Warri (in NPL) are reasons for the team to do well against the Algerian side, who are no pushovers as their position on the table does not reflect their potentials.
I watched them against Esperance and they played fantastic football only to lose 3-2.”
