Dynamo Kiev Ambush German Gunners In Germany

Dynamo Kiev's Nigerian defender, Taye Taiwo, believes that victory in tonight's UEFA Champions League playoff away to Borussia Mönchengladbach in Germany is an absolute necessity for his side after a disappointing 1-0 loss to Vorsla in the league last Saturday. The former Olympique Marseille left back who was absolved of blame for the defeat last Saturday by coach Yuri Semin revealed that it was important to get the maximum points from the encounter if they must stand a chance of qualifying for the group stage of the competition.

"It is very important we beat the German team and get into the Champions League group stage," the former Lobi Stars defender began.

"We created plenty of chances in the second half against Vorsla, but you need to score to win," Taiwo reflected.
The player who could make a permanent switch to the club for €2m at the end of the season further disclosed that he was fully settled at the Ukrainian club.

"I'm gradually adapting to the club now and all the guys are very good. The language barrier is not a problem, we can easily understand and communicate with each other. Beside]s, I joke a lot, so I feel great here.”
