The Nigeria Football Federation has approved the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Pharaohs of Egypt billed for March 26.
According to thenff.com, this was confirmed by the General Secretary of the NFF, Sanusi Mohammed.
Mohammed, who led a delegation on Thursday to the stadium for inspection, however disclosed that though there is still more work to be done, the stadium was ready to host the crucial match.
"We have seen every part of the stadium, and it seems ready for the Eagles-Pharaohs clash, but there is still some work to be done to ensure we have a perfect atmosphere come March 26th."
Mohammed also appealed to the state government via the Kaduna Football Association to ensure the stadium maintains a high level of readiness and standard for such a high calibre game.
Super Eagles are second on four points behind Group G leaders Egypt, who have six points from the same number of matches. Tanzania, wth one point, are in the third position while Chad, without any point, bring up the rear.
