The Nigeria Football Federation have cleared Super Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama for declaring Kaduna State unsafe for the 2017 AFCON qualifying game against Chad last month.
The Chairman of Nigeria Football Federation Disciplinary Committee,Barrister Chris Green disclosed this shortly after the unveiling ceremony of the new Super Eagles Coach Sunday Oliseh at the Abuja National Stadium yesterday.
‘The fact that the NFF had been silent after the panel sat and looked into his case means that he has been forgiven and he’s now free to play for the Super Eagles.
Enyeama’s case has been looked into and he has been cleared and can go ahead to lead the Eagles in the next match of the 2017 AFCON qualifiers,’ Green stated.
The NFF executive committee member also disclosed that SS Lazio of Italy midfielder has also been let off the hook adding that the NFF would no longer ask the player to pay any fine again because he had shown remorse.
