NFF Insist On Foreign Coach For Super Falcons

Officials have told Complete Sports in Abuja that the big wigs of the Nigeria Football Federation are working hard in order to secure a partner that will fund the employment of a foreign coach for the Super Falcons.

The Super Falcons have been without a head coach since Edwin Okon was sacked after the World Cup in July and the NFF President Amaju Pinnick insists that only a foreign coach can return women's football to its pride of place in world football.

Meanwhile,  the Super Falcons will begin the defence of their African Women's Championship title they won last year in Namibia with effect from April 8, 2016 with a second and final round qualifying clash against the winners of the tie between Senegal and Guinea.

According to the fixtures, the Super Falcons will qualify automatically for the Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroun next year if they beat either Senegal and Guinea.

Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana Equatorial Guinea and Cote d' Ivoire drew bye into the second round final qualifying rounds of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
