Nigerian forward William Oluremi John has vowed to light up the Finland Premier League with goal soon.
William joined Rovaniemii two weeks ago and has featured in two games, but is yet to open his goals account.
The former AZAL PFC Baku striker assured his fans to expect his goals to flow as the club attempt to wrest top spot from HJK.
William made the goals vow to completesportsnigeria.com following Saturday’s goalless draw with Illves FC.
“We played goalless against Illvest but it is better than losing even though we would have loved to win it and clinch the three maximum points,” he said.
“My goal will surely come; all I need to do is to keep working hard and hope for the best.”
Rovaniemi currently occupy the second position in the Finland Veikkausliiga with 43 points from 25 matches, level with HJK who lead on goal different with three outstanding matches to play.
William gave Rops fans the slice of his budding talents when his two assists ensure Rovaniemii beat SJK 2-0 last week.
