The 19-year-old former Viking striker who scored 13 goals in 40 appearances for the Norwegian side has been handed the No.20 jersey at the club for the coming season.

Abdullahi told the media at his unveiling that he was pleased to make the switch which he believes is a big step in his career.

"I am pleased that the transfer worked out, because I have seen in the past the development of other Scandinavian players here and I think  the new club is the right place for me," Abdullahi said.

He is expected to make his debut for Eintracht Braunschweig in a pre-season friendly against Danish side OB Odense on the 9th of July.
