Nigerian teenager Umar Sadiq was on target again for AS Roma in their 3-3 Serie A draw at Chievo Verona on Wednesday.
The former Roma youth player scored the first goal of the match in the seventh minute, his second goal in two straight games, after netting in Roma’s last league match before the winter break.
It was the impressive Sadiq’s first senior start and he played for 80 minutes before making way for Norbert Gyomber
Sadiq’s opening goal was followed by Alessandro Florenzi’s strike to make it 2-0 for the visiting Roma.
Alberto Paloschi pulled one back for Chievo before half-time, and Dario Dainelli pulled Chievo level at 2-2 in the 58th minute.
Iago Falque gave Roma the lead again in the 71st minute, but Simone Pepe rescued a point for Chievo with four minutes left.
