Former Nigeria international, Ben Iroha has revealed to Completesportsnigeria.com that the tennis club floated by Nigerians living in Dallas, United States of America, USA, will be officially unveiled on Thursday, November 5, 2016.

Iroha further explained that the reason behind the club is to bequeath something positive for the coming generation.

"We want to build and leave a legacy. We want to leave something behind for our coming generation, something that can outlive us.

"So the project we have in mind will have club house, bar, park and possibly a swimming pool. It's not going to be easy, it's not going to be cheap, but we want to take the first step and this first step is this inauguration”.

Iroha who assisted Augustine Eguavoen during Nigeria U-23s' failed campaign for the 2012 London Olympic Games qualifiers, disclosed that the membership of the club is more than 100.

"We are over 100 active members ranging from 25 years and above. Membership is open to everyone as long as you are a Nigerian living in America," the one-time Vitesse Amhem of Holland wing-back disclosed.

"The President of the club is Mr Ikechukwu Anowei. We have an Inauguration Committee with Anderson Obiagwu as chairman. I’m also a member of that committee.

"The committee has 10 members of which I'm a member. Chief Stanley Ikwu, Mr Habib Habib, Dr Laz Ibekwe and Charles Maduka alias 'lawyer Eziokwu' are all members of the inauguration committee," Iroha added.
