NPFL: 3SC Shoot Down MFM In Ibadan

By Adeboye Amosu:

Wasiu Jimoh netted a hat-trick as Shooting Stars recorded a 3-0 win against MFM FC, their first victory of the campaign, at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, on Saturday reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
MFM went into the game on the back of their impressive wins against Nasarawa United and Rivers United in their opening two games of the campaign, but were taught a harsh lesson by the Oluyole Warriors who dominated the game from start to finish.
Their goalkeeper, James Aiyeyemi, who was in fantastic form in the midweek win against Rivers United put up a dismal showing in the game.
He gave the ball away in the fourth minute allowing Jimoh who hit the back of the net seven times for 3SC last season to score the curtain raiser.
Jimoh increased the hosts’ lead on 19 minutes when he lobbed the ball over the badly placed goalkeeper.
The home side further increased the tempo despite their advantage and Jimoh scored his third and Shooting Stars’ third of the evening in the 36th minute.
MFM improved after the break, but failed to grab a consolation goal.
