Enugu Rangers were in devastating form as they whitewashed Ikorodu United 4-1 in their Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 17 fixture at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu on Sunday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The victory ended a run of three games without a win for the Flying Antelopes.
Francis Nedum opened the floodgate of goals for the Coal City side when he scored the curtain raiser on 11 minutes.
Seven minutes later, Tope Olusesi made it two to the hosts after combining well with Chisom Egbuchulam.
Olusesi scored his second and his side’s third of the game in the 21st minute.
Moses Ebiye pulled a goal back for Ikorodu United in the 23rd minute.
Obinna Nwobodo restored Rangers’ three goals advantage five minutes before the end of the game.
Also on Sunday, Abia Warriors stayed unbeaten at the Umuahia Stadium beating Rivers United 1-0.

Kano Pillars and Heartland battled to a barren draw at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
Lobi Stars beat Giwa FC 2-0 at the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi.
The Pride of Benue were awarded a penalty in the 19th minute when Giwa FC defender Moses Opitoke handled the ball in the box.

Lobi Stars’ lead was doubled by Emmanuel Ajia on the stroke of half time.
