Anthony Nwakaeme scored a second-half hat-trick for Israeli champions Hapoel Be'er Sheva who trounced Bnei Sakhnin on Saturday.
It was the Nigerian striker's first ever career hat-trick. He opened scoring in the 48th minute and doubled his side's lead in the 80th minute. The 27-year-old forward completed his hat-trick five minutes from full time.
His compatriot John Ogu was also in superb form for the Camels.
Also on Saturday, Odion Ighalo ended his three-game English Premier League drought by scoring a goal and providing an assist to inspire Watford to their first win of the season as they fought back from two goals down to beat West Ham 4-2 at the Olympic Stadium.
Ighalo last scored a goal in the EPL in the Hornets' 4-2 win over Norwich City in May. The strike against the Hammers was his fourth in his last 22 Watford games.
On Saturday, Ighalo was replaced by compatriot Isaac Success in the 69th minute who made his second substitute appearance for Walter Mazzarri’s side.
Also breaking his goal scoring duck this season was Kelechi Iheanacho.
The 19-year-old was on target for Manchester City who defeated city rivals Manchester United 2-1 in Saturday’s derby game at Old Trafford.
Iheanacho who provided an assist for Kevin De Bruyne’s opener also made history for himself becoming the youngest Manchester City player to score a derby goal and the first Nigerian to score in the Manchester derby.
At the Emirates, Alex Iwobi came on for Theo Walcott in the 75th minute for Arsenal who edged Southampton 2-1. It was his second appearance for the Gunners this season.
Iwobi has totaled 74 minutes so far this season.
At Anfield, Ahmed Musa came on but could not save reigning champions Leicester City from losing 4-1 to Liverpool. It was Musa's fourth (third as substitute) appearance for the Foxes so far this term.
In the Championship Sone Aluko played but failed to inspire Fulham who lost 1-0 to Birmingham City at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

In France, Vincent Enyeama conceded four goals while in action for Lille as they lost 4-1 at home to Monaco in a Ligue 1 clash.
In Holland, Fred Friday’s goal drought in the Dutch Eredivise continued as he failed to score in AZ Alkmaar’s 2-0 win over Willem II who paraded two Nigerians Funso Ojo and Bartholomew Ogbeche though he provided an assist for his side’s second goal. He has made five appearances.
Taiwo Awoniyi made his debut for his new Dutch side NEC Nijmegen who lost 4-0 to PSV Eindhoven on Saturday at Goffert stadium. He was replaced in the 72nd minute by Michael Heinloth.
