Nigerian youngster, Kelechi Nwakali will on Sunday February 28 hold a special thanksgiving during church service in appreciation of his successful move to English Barclays Premier League side, Arsenal, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The service which will be in conjunction with his former U-17 Golden Eaglets teammate, Chukwudi Ogor, will hold at St. Mark's Anglican Church, Eziobodo, near Owerri, Imo State.
"After signing the Arsenal contract, Kelechi decided it was important to show appreciation to God for what He has done and will continue to do in his career," an official of ASJ Football Academy, where Kelechi Nwakali was loaned to by Diamond Football Academy, Umuahia confirmed to Completesportsnigeria.com.
Nwakali signed a four-year deal with the North London side, but Ogor has been strongly linked with a move to Anderlecht of Belgium or Wolfsburg of Germany who also snapped 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup 10-goal scorer, Victor Osimhen after the tournament in Chile.
The Golden Eaglets' captain was adjudged the Most Valuable Player, MVP, of the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup finals in Chile.
Anderlecht are expected in the country next to push to finalise Ogor's signing.
