Seattle Sounders striker Obafemi Martins scored a hat-trick for a Super Eagles All Stars side in a 5-3 friendly victory over Westerlo Academy on Wednesday in Lagos.
The Nigerian international who came on for Michael Babatunde at half-time reduced scored with a perfect strike from the edge of the box eight minutes after coming on.
He doubled his tally five minutes later with a brilliant over-head kick.
He capped his brilliant display by curling in a free-kick from the edge of the box to send the fans wide with jubilation.
The 31-year-old who was adjudged the MVP of the game and told the media after the game that he was delighted to have thrilled the fans.
"I'm happy to be here and also to have scored today. Scoring goals is part of me and I'm happy the fans had a great time," he said.
