Wikki Tourists striker Godwin Obaje is determined to secure a move to Russian club Spartak Moscow, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The former JUTH FC striker is expected to travel to Russia next week where he will undergo trials with Spartak who are keen on adding him to their squad.
"I will be leaving Nigeria for Russia on Monday for trials with Spartak Moscow," the 19-year-old told Complete sportsnigeria.com.
"They are keen on signing me but still want me to train with them for a couple of weeks before I sign a contract.
"I'm motivated for this challenge and hope things will work our fine at the end of the day."
Obaje, whose elder brother Joshua plays for Nigeria Professional Football League side Plateau United, was close to joining Slovakian club AS Trencin last year but the move broke down over contractual disputes.
He was top scorer in the NPFL last season with 18 goals.
