Obaroakpo Snubs Pillars, Wolves For Abia Warriors Stay

Abia Warriors captain, Austin Obaroakpo, has revealed to  Completesportsnigeria.com that he has turned down offers from top clubs in the Nigerian Premier League to remain with the club.
The centre-back was close to securing a move to Kano Pillars before the start of the African Nations Championship in Rwanda.
He was also courted by CAF Champions League campaigners, Warri Wolves.


Obaroakpo however told Completesportsnigeria.com that has decided to stay with the club for another season.
"I have decided to stay with Abia Warriors for one more season," he disclosed to Completesportsnigeria.com.
"The club have told me they are not willing to sell me and I'm okay with the decision.
"I hope we can achieve  something great next season."
