Austin Obaroakpo is set to make his return to Nigeria's starting line-up in Friday'Group C fixture against Tunisia at the African Nations Championship despite the impressive showing of Kalu Orji and Stephen Eze in their first game against Niger, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The home-based Super Eagles vice-captain missed the game due to suspension.
Eze and Orji impressed in his absence prompting many to suggest it will be difficult for him to get into the team.
A reliable camp source has however informed Completesportsnigeria.com that the Abia Warriors star will play his first game in the competition barring any injury problem.
"The coach is a huge fan of Austin and there is no way he won't start the game against Tunisia," the source revealed to Completesportsnigeria.com.
"Aside from that he has done well in training and he is our best central defender.
"The big decision now is who is going to partner him in central defence between Eze and Orji.
" Both of them were excellent against Niger and are capable of doing a good job."
