Odemwingie Makes Rotherham Debut In Draw Vs Ipswich

By James Agberebi:

Former Nigeria striker Osaze Odemwingie made his debut for Rotherham United in their 2-2 away draw against Ipswich Town in the English Championship on Saturday.

Odenwingie, who joined second-tier Rotherham on a free transfer last week, was introduced for Jon Taylor in the 80th minute.

Freddie Sears gave Ipswich the lead in the third minute before Danny Ward drew Rotherham level on four minutes.

Ward grabbed his second goal to put Rotherham 2-1 ahead.

But on the stroke of 90 minutes, David McGoldrick scored to earn his side a share of the spoils.

The draw leaves Rotherham rooted to the bottom of the 24-team Championship table.
