Odemwingie Makes Winning Debut For Bristol City

Out of favour Super Eagles striker, Osaze Odemwingie, made his debut for Championship side Bristol City on Saturday in the club's 2-1 away win against Fulham at the Craven Cottage, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.‎

The Nigerian had made a loan switch to the club until the end of the season and came off the bench as the second half started in place of French forward Jonathan Kodjia.

Bristol City's goals in the 69th and 90th minutes were scored by Marlon Pack and Lee Tomlin.

Both sides occupy the 19th and 20th positions respectively in the Championship table with 37 points each with Fulham with a better goal difference of -6 while Bristol City have -25 goal difference.

Odemwingie donned the number 27 jersey for City who prior to the arrival of Lee Johnson at the helm, found themselves languishing in the Championship’s relegation zone.
