AC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has named Super Eagles winger Nnamdi Oduamadi in his 25-man squad for the inaugural edition of the San Nicola Trophy triangular tournament, which kicks off on Tuesday, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
The Rossoneri will compete with three Italian teams, Bari, AC Milan and Inter Milan, for the trophy in a round-robin competition that will last for 45 minutes.
An excited Oduamadi told Completesportsnigeria.com that he hopes his performance earns him a place in the Milan squad for Saturday’s home clash against Sampdoria at the San Siro.
Milan will be playing in their third green and yellow jersey. The first match pits Milan against Bari, while their second match is against Inter.
“I’m happy and I hope to give my very best to get into the squad.
“The coach has helped me settle well in the squad after the demise of my father.” Oduamadi who will wear the jersey number 59 for the mini tournament told Completesportsnigeria.com.
Also named in Milan’s squad for the tournament are Prince Boateng, Kiesuki Honda, De Sciglio and Mexes.
