Ogu: Be’er Sheva’ll Recover From Home Loss

Nigeria midfielder, John Ogu, has expressed optimism that Hapoel Beer Sheva will bounce back from their 1-0 home loss to Maccabi Tel Aviv on Sunday.

Reacting to the loss, Ogu, who was recently named as the seventh best player in the Israeli league last season, praised the efforts of his teammates despite the defeat, and also their fans for their support.

"Thank you to our fans for their tremendous Support. I think we gave everything in tonight's (Sunday) Game. We will bounce back," Ogu wrote on his Twitter page.

A 45th minute strike by Eran Zehavi, secured the win for Maccabi Tel Aviv against Hapoel Beer Sheva.

Hapoel'next league game which comes up on 12th September, will see them go away to take on Hapoel Ra'anana.
