Ogu Confident Super Eagles Will Win Second Leg Against Egypt

Hapoel Beer Sheva's midfielder John Ogu has expressed optimism that the Super Eagles can secure a win against Egypt in Tuesday's reverse fixture of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Egypt snatched a late equalizer through Mohamed Salah to end the game 1-1 at Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna.

Oghenekaro Etebo had earlier given the Eagles the lead.

Reacting on the draw, Ogu hailed the Nigeria players for a good performance.

"Well done to the guys. I strongly believe we can achieve a great result down in Egypt. Let's keep the belief alive," Ogu wrote on his Twitter handle.

  1. I am on the side of Ogu John. If we can up our games a little above the performance in Kaduna, we will do well. Ikeme, Efe Ambrose, Kennedy Omuere,  Simon Moses, Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi, Mikel Obi, Musa Ahmed, Onazi, Oghalo Odion should over power these Egyptians. Their squad is made up of more local team players and so we with our oversea base players should dominate them. I just do not know how our players think. We should be harrassing them and doing all sorts of things to intimidate them but it seems it is the reverse. If we allow them to dictate the game on Tuesday with their pranks, we are finished. We should take the game to them. They are very aggressive and will do all it takes to intimidate the ref and he will fall and start giving them what they want. We should also do our  own bit of intimidation too. We should not be timid. Brazil style- come to your home and intimidate you. Siasia should read and read and  read these comments to collate all and make something. We can still beat these Egyptians. We needed 4 points from these 2 matches and it is still in line. Any winning score is ok. Score and then park the buses. Mourinho style. Frustrate them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nigeria should put arrows into these Egyptians' hearts as I have put in my comment. Dem never see anything.

Guys it’s a done deal for Egypt…Once you allow Egypt to lead the pack forget. Please try and amount some good point so that you can be conceded for the second best place team.
Nigeria must come and learn from Ghana…The likes of Mikel and Co are not players fit to play for Nigeria.I wonder where Mikel will fit in the Ghana team….absolutely no where
