Ogu Impressed By Beer Sheva Fans’ Massive Support

Nigeria and Hapoel Beer Sheva midfielder John Ogu has thanked the club’s fans who came out to support them in their Monday ‘s 1-1 home draw against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israeli league.

Ogu along with compatriot Austin Ejide were on parade for 90 minutes of the match, with Nosa Igiebor scoring Tel Aviv’s only goal.

Reacting on the game, Ogu twitted on Tuesday: “Thanks to the Fans who came out to support us last night.”

Ogu who moved from Portuguese side Academica de Coimbra to Beer Sheva, has scored four goals in 31 games.

Their next league game is away to Maccabi Haifa on Saturday.
