Ojobo: Heartland Defeat Won’t Stop Enyimba’s March To League Title

Enyimba defender, Markson Ojobo, insists  Sunday's 2-1 defeat against Oriental rivals Heartland will not derail the Aba side's title hopes.

The Peoples Elephant' s lead at the top of the Glo Premier League was reduced to three points following the defeat.

And with six games left to play before the end of the campaign, the central defender who has hit the back of the net five times for his side is adamant they will ward off the threat of their rivals to win the title.

"The defeat against Heartland is a wake-up call for us," he told completesportsnigeria.com.

"Now we know it is not over until the last game of the season is played.

"We are still on top of the table and I have no doubt we will stay there until the end of the season."

Enyimba will host Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan in a match day 33 tie  on Sunday at the Enyimba Sports Stadium.
